Colin Ives is our Parts Manager. He can source parts and tyres from any where in New Zealand and world wide. His knowledge of parts is exhaustive. We have instant internet access to part finders and Colin will help you out with any enquiry you may have.

Vaughan Chote is a hands on Manager who likes to oversee each and every job put through the workshop. Vaughan enjoys the one on one contact with customers and aims to create good relationships with all the customers.

Technology is changing the automotive industry dramatically so Vaughan is a firm believer in updating his and his staffs knowledge and is constantly attending courses to keep up with the changes.

All the Technicians are qualified with each member contributing specialized skills.

Vaughan Chote Motors workshop is equipped with the latest in automotive equipment, tools, diagnostic and computer systems. Including a On Board Brake Lathe, a Hunter 411 four Wheel Alignment Machine and a Wynns Duall Automotic Transmission Flush System.

The new purpose built Truck workshop and the Free standing Heavy Duty Column Hoist, which is capable of lifting up to 40 tonne provides a more cost efficient and quicker turn around for the customer. VCM will prepare any truck for its COF. In fact anything from servicing, new tyres or a full engine recondition.

Vaughan Chote Motors is also the Holden Service Agent for Central Hawkes Bay and holds the franchise for competitively priced Goodyear Tyres.

We encourage you to book early for any repairs, maintenance or servicing you may require…….Warrant of Fitness reminders are sent out to all our customers and these can usually be performed while you wait. We will even pick up your vehicle and deliver it back to you
