Why should we privatise ACC? Of course we should not!!

It would not help to do so!
Privatisation would not help the present situation at any level. All it would do is add another layer of private board members adding their further outrageous demands for incredible renumeration for infrequent input at infrequent board meetings, with the overriding problem to be solved being how to guarantee even higher returns to themselves and those private shareholders.

Of course Government would have to hold on to the infamous 'Kiwi-Share' which would simply mean, that when, once again, the books would not quite balance, inspite of reducing services, 'Kiwi-Share' would require the NZ taxpayer to front up,yet again, in one form or another.
Even that would not guarantee that those with a high genetic risk of developing the big 'C' and identified as such by the medical profession,
would not get a letter such as I have received, telling them that their need for regular testing had been reassesed and they had been refered back to their GP for managment of their condition!!

OUCH!!!!
