It had to happen, it was only a matter of time before the violence of the world surfaced here in our little rural town. The community was, of course, shocked at the viscious attack on Glen Spotswood just a few nights ago. As is evidenced by TV depictions of those being tried for vicious crimes, most of them have consciences so scarred by exposure to violence (especially) on television that they are unable to feel any remorse or have any real understanding of what they have done. Bring back the stocks! Mmmm, maybe.

I am sure I reflect the sentiments of the whole community when I express deep sympathy to Glen and his family. We pray you will be fully recovered soon.
