A'Deane Park

Good to see all the work going on at A'Deane Park.
We must give 'big ups' to Jenny at the CHB District Council for all her input into getting things moving along. A'Deane Park was always intended to be a small recreational oasis for the Waipukurau community, not for sporting events like Russell Park but a place to sit and watch your children play or as JB A'Deane wanted, a place to come and watch the local brass-band play (Orginally he had suggested a little rotunda in the middle)!!

Thumbs up to Tracy Hayward
Thumbs up to Tracy Hayward for her apparently forgotten petition that provided the council-promised impetus foir this upgrade. Credit to where it is due.
Council would have left A'Deane park as it was were it not for Tracy.
You go girl!
Can go with A'Deane Park
Can go with A'Deane Park upgrade as that is already iconic locally.
Pity that other contentious projects such as The Woolshed, The Bypass and how
ratepayers stand with any additional costs for the Heated Pool Complex, appear to have suddenly fallen off the radar of our local paper.
That gives the impression that the public are resigned to accepting all of that as a done deal- We know that that is not so - don't we?
